🌿 About Me as a Supervisor

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Sex Therapist (AASECT), and PhD Candidate in Clinical Sexology. My doctoral work focuses on desire discrepancy, intimacy patterns, and relational functioning—areas that deeply inform the way I conceptualize cases and support clinicians in their development.

Before opening Desire & Bloom Therapy, I served as a Clinical Director at a large group practice, where I trained and supervised clinicians, audited documentation, developed clinical frameworks, and led consultation groups. I bring that same blend of structure, warmth, and real-world experience into the supervision space.

My supervision style is collaborative and grounded. I believe new clinicians grow best in an environment where they feel supported, encouraged, and guided—not judged or micromanaged. You can expect sessions that help you strengthen your clinical reasoning, understand your clients more deeply, and build confidence in your therapeutic voice.

Because my clinical specialty is working with desire, intimacy, and relationship dynamics, I offer supervisees a lens that integrates attachment, trauma, sexuality, and relational patterns. Whether you’re navigating your first high-conflict couple, working with sexual concerns, exploring countertransference, or building your identity as a therapist, you’ll have a supervisor who approaches your journey with compassion, clarity, and a grounded sense of direction.

Above all, I see supervision as a relationship where you feel safe to be honest, explore your edges, and grow into the clinician you’re meant to become.

🌿 Who I Work Best With

  • Guidance in intimacy, sexuality, and relational dynamics

  • Honest conversations about the therapist’s inner world

  • Support paired with clinical challenge

If you’re drawn to emotionally attuned, intuitive, client-centered work, you’ll likely thrive in supervision with me.
