Hi, I’m Shie.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and AASECT-certified sex therapist specializing in desire, intimacy, anxiety, and trauma-informed care for individuals and couples. My work centers around helping people understand themselves more deeply, build healthier emotional and sexual connections, and feel more grounded and confident in their relationships and daily lives.
Over the years, I’ve worked with people who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how to navigate intimacy, desire, or emotional closeness. Many arrive feeling confused about their sexual experiences, anxious in their relationships, or weighed down by stress, shame, or past trauma. My role is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s really happening beneath the surface.
My therapeutic style is warm, empathic, and direct. I bring compassion, curiosity, and honesty to my sessions — along with evidence-based approaches that support meaningful, lasting change. I blend emotional attunement, sex-positive education, relational insight, and EMDR-informed trauma work to help you reconnect with your body, your emotions, and your relationships.
I believe that healing happens when we feel seen, safe, and supported. Therapy is not about perfection or “fixing” you — it’s about understanding your patterns, honoring your experiences, and building the clarity and connection you’ve been longing for.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, desire discrepancies, sexual pain, performance anxiety, relationship issues, or the lasting impacts of trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you move toward a life and relationships that feel more aligned, connected, and alive.
